American Dipper

The American Dipper is the only songbird in the U.S. that is considered aquatic - living near and in the water. These birds are so much fun to watch dipping in and out of the water - hopping around from the water to rocks, to shoreline, and back in the water. This bird reminds me of what Jesus says below.

John 7:37-38 “…Anyone who is thirsty may come to me (Jesus)! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’“

As the American Dipper is always in the water, I want to always be in the living water Jesus gives.
