Great Blue Heron

The Great Blue Heron holds a special place with my family. It was the first bird my husband and I chased down when we first started birding. It is a bird that always brings joy, peace, and a sense of God’s presence when I see one. And with the name Great Blue Heron, it always reminds me of how great God is!

Psalm 145:3 “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”
