Red-tailed Hawk

When our son was very young, on winter days that were so cold it was difficult to do much outside, we would take a drive and count how many hawks we could find. It was so much fun! We would see them perched on trees, posts, street lights…or anywhere high enough they could watch. They would sit and watch, and watch, and watch.

That watching reminds me how God is always watching over us.

Psalm 121:5-8. "The LORD watches over you- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
