Sparrows

I know that sparrows can seem like an insignificant bird, but I really enjoy them - especially in the winter because they are fun to photograph. They seem more striking in the winter, and it’s fun to identify the different species and possibly even locate one that’s not as common. I think it’s easy to overlook the joy in common or simple things, but at times, those are the things I enjoy the most. Sparrows also remind me of how much God cares for us in the words of Jesus.

Matthew 10: 29-31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s (God’s) care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

I pray today you would experience God’s care and the immeasurable love He has for you!
